Glow Stick Dildo

I decided to get this novelty glow stick dildo as I and my partner both enjoy the neon illumination produced by glow sticks. I must admit that I have experimented with an actual glow stick during masturbation before. The experience was rather uncomfortable, but I had high hopes that this specifically designed glow stick dildo wouldn’t be.  Not only did the concept of enjoying a miniature light show during masturbation attract me to this product, but the smooth flowing shape of the silicone dildo also appealed to me.

The toy arrives in a box that appears to be designed in the style of a rave/club poster. On the box the phrase ‘Light UP! your SEX life’ is printed in various places. The box states that the product is made from pure silicone. On the back of the box you will find instructions on how to make the toy glow. Simple snap one of the five glow sticks provided, give it a shake, and slot it inside the toy, making sure to firmly apply the plug after – you don’t want to lose your glow while in mid flow. The front of the box is secured by a magnetic latch, opening to reveal the dildo and glow sticks displayed behind a clear plastic window. The toy and glow sticks are packaged securely in a fold-over plastic casing. When opening the plastic, be careful not to drop the glow sticks, as you don’t want to accidentally set them off. There are five glow sticks provided; one yellow, one orange, one red, one green, and one purple/blue (this appears as white before you trigger it). Each glow stick is 5.5 inches long; they are often available from discount shops. The toy is in a fairly realistic penis style shape, with the tip of the toy shaped similarly to the glans on a penis. The main shaft of the toy has a slight wave to it, and expands slightly before the tip.  I would say that the toy is more impressionistic than realistic. The toy is 7 inches in length, and 4.25 inches in circumference at its widest point. The base of the toy is contoured perfectly for gripping in your hand. This toy isn’t overly large, but I feel it makes an excellent couples toy due to its size and gimmick factor. At the base of the toy you will find a small plug. Make sure you don’t lose this, as otherwise you won’t be able to securely confine a glow stick in the toy. The plug stays firmly in place, and makes a gentle popping noise upon removal.  The silicone is excellent quality considering the toys price. The toy feels smooth, with only a gentle mould line running round it; the material is also rather flexible. Unlike other cheap silicone toys, this toy has no unnerving scent.

The blue/ purple glow stick after it's been preserved in the freezer for 5 hours.

The toy is easy to insert and gently hits the g-spot. I was slightly surprised how well it hit my g-spot, as I’m used to strongly curved toys managing this much better than straight toys. Only a few inches of the toy was needed during insertion to cause g-spot stimulation. The head of the toy gently bounced off my g-spot, leading to a gentle g-spot orgasm. I’m also surprised this toy produced a g-spot orgasm in me, as usually I need toys that are made from firmer materials.

When introducing the toy to my partner we decided to use one of the glow sticks in the toy. We chose to snap the white glow stick, which produced a neon indigo colour.  The glow stick lit up our faces as we played with the toy. We might just be suckers for novelty items, but this toy really did make the experience special. The glow stick lasted for a good hour before dying out. The toy was very easy to use during couple play. My partner had no problems gripping the toy, and due to the toy’s shape, it gently flowed along my vaginal wall while my pelvic floor muscles kept it in a comfortable position. In the past I’ve found the shape of some toys to be uncomfortable when using with a partner, but I didn’t experience that with this glow stick dildo.

You can fill the toy with water and place it in the freezer - just make sure you firmly apply the stopper. The chamber doesn’t hold much water, and so freezes pretty quickly. The temperature feels very different to a cooled metal or glass toy; I feel it’s more user friendly, and produces less of a shock to your body.  Unlike a cooled glass or metal toy, it doesn’t keep cold very long.

The red didn't want to mix as well as the other glow sticks.

Cleaning the toy is simple; just wash it with your standard antibacterial wash.  I’ve found that the silicone doesn’t attract dust, unlike certain toys.

If you accidently set a glow stick off, or you have a current glow stick with some juice left in it, and you don’t wish to waste it, then don’t worry. If the glow stick has any glow left in it, just pop it into your freezer, and this will freeze the liquid, preventing the glow from wearing out. When removing the glow stick from the freezer you will need to warm the stick slightly, by either running under a warm tap, or putting it against your body. Huzzah! now your glow stick should be glowing once again.

Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and functionality of this toy. I’m used to being let down by novelty toys, leading to them eventually being thrown away. I’m certain that this toy will be staying in my toy box, and I hope to stock up on an abundant supply of glow sticks.

Hitachi Magic Wand Vibrator

I was unaware what my parcel contained prior to opening it; all I knew was that whatever was contained within it felt weighty. First I unwrapped the smaller item within the box, and found a large power converter plug; this made me wonder even more what the larger item could be. I really should have guessed that it would be the Hitachi Magic Wand vibrator. I never expected to own one of these legendary vibrators, but I’m glad I do. Not just because of the strong vibrations this vibrator is meant to pack, but also I feel it’s a must own for anyone with a toy addiction, like myself.

The Hitachi has been around since the 1970s, and this is easily visible through its packaging, appearance, and build. This vibrator is so good, that they obviously haven’t felt the need to alter anything about the product for the past 40 years. The Hitachi is marketed as a general purpose massager rather than an actual sex toy; women have been using massagers to stimulate themselves ever since they were first invented. The massager comes in a white cardboard box; there are several images of a clothed woman using the vibrator very innocently on her body. Within the box you will find the vibrator and a set of instructions. The instructions pin-point areas which can benefit from being massaged by the Hitachi, and all areas stated are rather innocent. The Hitachi is made from a combination of white and blue plastic. It appears very sterile, reminding me of medical equipment. The massager is 12.5 inches in length. There is a power cord leading out of the base, and the cord is approximately 70 inches long. In the main shaft of the Hitachi there is a black power switch, which can be flicked to either a high intensity or a low intensity setting. The switch doesn’t easily change position, so you have no worry of accidentally turning the product off while reaching climax. I’m actually surprised with how comfortable the Hitachi feels to hold, as it’s not what I would normally expect from something so bulky and heavy. At the top of the massager you will find a blue plastic stem, separating the control shaft and the massage head. The stem is fairly flexible and can withstand abusive manipulation without breaking. The rounded head of the toy is made from textured white plastic, which is rather squishy, almost leather-like. The head is 7.5 inches in circumference and 2 inches in length. It’s not really intended for insertion.

To use the Hitachi you will need a power converter, if you are a UK resident. Most companies selling the Hitachi will provide one of these with the Hitachi, and if not you can purchase one here. Plug the Hitachi into the power converter, which should be plugged into your main power outlet. Once the Hitachi is plugged in, just simply flick the control switch. The Hitachi only has two settings; one is classed as low, and the other high. The low setting is extremely powerful by itself, more so than most vibrators’ high settings. If you are new to strong vibrations, I would recommend only using the low setting at first. When I first used the Hitachi I switched it onto the high setting, and was so shocked by how powerful this vibrator was that I actually dropped it. Luckily it’s so sturdy it didn’t break. I’ve now owned the Hitachi for some time, and I must admit it doesn’t come out to play much. I think this is because I actually need to be in the mood for strong vibrations. It does come in handy when I’m very busy and don’t have time for some slow sensual pleasure, especially as this toy can cause me to have a clitoral orgasm while fully clothed. I would recommend putting a duvet or similar between yourself and the massagers head while adjusting to the powerful vibrations. The toy is quite loud, which is expected from such a powerful toy, although unlike some vibrators the noise level doesn’t bother me too much. I think that this is not only due to the amazing orgasm it produces so rapidly, but also due to how smoothly its motor performs. With cheaper and lower quality vibrators, I always find they have this rattling sound, but the Hitachi produces a smooth and consistent buzz.

I have tried inserting the Hitachi wand and experienced very little success. I have managed to insert objects of similar proportion vaginally before, after much relaxation, but the Hitachi’s shape and textured plastic just don’t seem to want to fit.  Luckily there are a vast amount of accessories available for the Hitachi, ranging from insertable attachments, to add-ons for variation in texture. If you aren’t able to buy additional attachments for the Hitachi, you can focus the head of the toy onto an already inserted sex toy, and feel the vibrations travel through it.

This may shock some, but I’ve used the Hitachi as an actual muscle massager. It does help relax muscles, and ease away those aches and pains. Also, because it can be used as a general massager, it is a great couples’ toy.

To clean the toy, just use your standard antibacterial wipes or spray. Do not immerse the toy, or get the power cord wet.

Does the Hitachi malfunction, leading to burnt out plug sockets? In the past I’ve read a few accounts where people claim the Hitachi has randomly malfunctioned, or where the power of the toy has caused external wall mounted plug sockets to melt away. I haven’t actually experienced this with my Hitachi, and I’ve enjoyed some pretty long masturbation sessions with it before.

Overall, I like the Hitachi Magic Wand, and wish to experiment with some of its attachments in the future. Even though it’s not used often, I do keep it close to an available plug socket at all times, because you can never tell when you will need one of those powerful orgasms, then, there and now.

Love Me Like You Hate Me - Book Review

The book ‘Love Me Like You Hate Me: Lessons In Pleasure And Pain.’is by Venus O’Hara and Erika Lust. Venus O’Hara is a fetish model, actress and writer. Erika Lust is the founder of Lust Films which provides adult films, erotica and magazines, with women in mind. This book is an introduction for women who are interested in the world of BDSM. The book is written from a slight feminist viewpoint, and seems to be aimed at wealthy heterosexual couples who are new to the BDSM scene. The book is made with a padded hardback cover depicting a couple wearing rather elegant clothes; the woman is also wearing handcuffs. The book has a vintage looking exterior, but the photos and writing inside the book itself are rather modern. The book was published in 2010 and makes a reference to Lady Gaga and various internet sites. The book consists of 192 pages, most of which are pictures. Inside this beautiful book you will find a small gift of bijoux indiscrets satin ties. I was surprised by this as I ordered the book online, and had no idea that it would come with a free sex toy. Each satin tie is 28 inches long and two inches wide. Each tie has a slot at one end, meaning that you can easily wrap these ties around you without having to fiddle about with tying knots. The ties can also be used as a blindfold. On the ties you will find ‘Love Me Like You Hate Me’ printed in silver. I’m unsure how long this printing will stay on the satin.

The book is split into fifteen main sections. There is a short introduction which gently eases you into the book. The book then starts with a basic look at the origins of where the term sadism derived, which came from the works of Donatien Alphonse Francois de Sade, and the term Masochism, which came from the renowned book ‘Venus in Furs’ by Sacher-Masoch. ‘Venus inFurs’ is mentioned throughout ‘Love Me Like You Hate Me’.  There is also a small section on terminology, explaining phrases commonly used within BDSM.
The next section is on blindfolds, explaining what a blindfold is, what can be used to make a blindfold, and how to use a blindfold successfully. There is also a confession of someone’s first real experience with a blindfold. This is written in the style of a short erotic story. The story is about a woman meeting someone through the internet, and how they developed a sexual relationship, leading slowly to them re-enacting an erotic fantasy which involves a blindfold. The next section is on bondage and how to tie someone up correctly and safely. They suggest you use the satin ties provided with the book. Again there is another confessional erotic story involving a young couple.
Next there is a section on toys and accessories. Most of the brands suggested are rather expensive designer items, and the images seem to be the provided by the retailers and not the authors. At the end of this section there are a few suggestions for toys on a budget, such as using clothes pegs. Next is a section on dress up, again suggesting specialist and rather expensive designer wear. The next section is titled ‘Welcome to the Dungeon!’ This title reminds me of Guns ‘n’ Roses’ ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. This section mainly suggests where you can buy specialist dungeon furniture, such as custom metal beds.
The book goes on to how to perform role play. In this section you will find a short quiz, which may help you distinguish between whether you are a sub, dom, or switch. There are also a few role play scenarios outlined, from private themes such as the traditional doctor and nurse within the bedroom, to scenarios which are re-enacted publicly. Next there is a section on the differences between masters and slaves; you will find a few examples of contracts, and what a slave generally agrees to before handing over their ownership to their master. There is a part explaining Femdom roles, and examples of specialist websites and resources which masters and slaves can use.Within the ‘Master and Slaves’ section there are two confessional erotic stories, one from a slave and the other from a master.
After this is a section on ‘Rewards and Punishment’. This section mainly outlines how to punish your submissive correctly, ranging from sensory deprivation to humiliation. The reward suggestions for the sub are very small and only comprises of four suggestions. The ‘No Pain, No Gain’ section outlines what is good and bad pain. There is a small bit of information on how to use spanking correctly, with information on spank parties. Devices explained are whips, nipple clamps, and items used within temperature play.  At the end of this section you will find another confessional erotic story, where a girl plays the role of a naughty school girl who is punished through spanking by a teacher. The next section is on revenge, and is aimed at those who switch from dom to sub within their relationship. There is a list of some common complaints within relationships, and how to possibly solve these problems.  At the end of this chapter there is a confessional erotic short story, about a woman who waxes her partners back, as a form of revenge for insults made about her weight. The next section is a list of films and literature the authors suggest you look into.  The last main section is a list of fetish parties and events, consisting of photos and information. Finally there is a little section with two small authors’ bios.

Overall this book is a nice little guide with some beautiful pictures. I feel that it would be a good introduction to both women and men who are new to BDSM. But I think the book will become outdated quickly, as there are too many toy brands and events advertised within the book. If you are looking for a luxurious feeling book, with some basic suggestions, short erotic stories, and a free set of satin ties to get you started, then this book is for you. I think what mainly attracted me to this book was the photography; though the images contained within this book are pretty mild in subject matter, some are rather artistic.

Icicles No. 24 Tentacle Glass Dildo

The Icicles No. 24 is a handmade glass dildo that has been crafted to look similar to a tentacle. A few months ago if I was asked if I had a form of tentacle fetish, I would have answered no. I’m still unsure if I do have a tentacle fetish, but I’ve now had a few experiences with tentacle shaped toys. The curved ‘S’ shape of most tentacle shaped toys seems to be great for stimulating the g-spot, and the added textures from the tentacle like suckers are often prefect for those who enjoy a little extra stimulation. From my general experience with tentacle style dildos, they’re often less fighting than one would first perceive them to be from online descriptions and photos. The Icicles No. 24 isn’t as menacing as you might think; it’s actually rather pretty due to its sparkling pink glass.

The Icicles No. 24 arrives in a cardboard box with various product images printed on it. The front of the box opens up with a magnetic latch to reveal the product which is kept behind a clear plastic window. Inconveniently you actually have to open the box up to get the toy out; I would’ve preferred to have instant access to the toy after lifting up the magnetic cardboard front. The toy is resting safely in a custom cut piece of foam. There is no storage bag with this toy, so you may wish to keep the box.

The first Icicles No. 24 I was sent had to be returned as there was a sharp scratch on one of the lower bumps. This isn’t very common with glass toys; most companies do extensive checks before sending each toy off. It’s always worth checking a glass toy before each use. Glass toys are made from a stronger form of glass, known as borosilicate glass or more commonly known as Pyrex. This glass is used in medical equipment and even kitchen wear. It’s pretty tough and can withstand extreme temperatures.  Due to having to send my original order back for a replacement, I can confirm that each No. 24 is very individualistic; the replacement almost seems like a completely different toy.  All the toys within the Icicles range are handmade, meaning that each item is very special and unique. The toy reminds me of a dimpled veiny tongue rather than an actual tentacle. There are two rows of bumps travelling adjacently from the tip of the toy to the end of the handle. Each row has 16 bumps; these bumps are all very rounded and prominent compared to other textured toys. The number of bumps and size of each bump may vary from each toy. Running between the two rows of bumps is a crevice like groove. As well as the top of the toy being textured, the underside has vein like ridges travelling along it. These ridges are similar to the type of veins found on realistic penis toys; unlike a jelly or silicone toy these veins are firmer and more noticeable. At the base of the toy there is a curved looped handle, the bumps continue all the way round the handle making it easier to grip, especially when the toy becomes slippery. The handle is only big enough to accommodate one finger or thumb wrapped round it. This toy is the most textured toy I own, because of this I would recommend using added lubrication. The toy is 6 inches in length with 4 inches of insertable shaft. The toy is gently slopped; it isn’t as curved as some of the toys I own. Even though the toy is an ‘S’ shape it comfortably sits on a flat surface without falling over. The glass is a crystal clear pink, I’m not normally one for pink toys but this toy is pretty. Light reflects beautifully off each individual bump.

When inserting this toy I recommend using additional lubrication, not because the glass is difficult to insert, but because the textures are very strong and can feel slightly uncomfortable if you and the toy lack much lubrication. The toy can be inserted with either the bumps stimulating the front of the vaginal wall or the veins. When inserting the toy with the bump side up, I was able to appreciate all the bumps rub against the front of my vaginal wall. I was also able to appreciate the textures provided from the veins. Normally I find textures on the underside of toys go unnoticed, but this wasn’t the case with the No. 24 dildo. I found that when I used the toy bump side up, the curve didn’t actually hit my g-spot. I was surprised by this, as in the past similarly designed curved toys have hit my g-spot dead on. When inserting the toy with the veins facing to the front of my vaginal wall, I found that the curve brush against my g-spot but it wasn’t able to produce a g-spot orgasm. When using the toy vein side up, I enjoyed how different the toy felt compared to when the bumps were stimulating the front of my vaginal wall. Even though I didn’t reach a g-spot orgasm with this toy I still enjoyed the variation of the textures and how comfortable the contoured curved shaft felt inside me. I’ve found the curved bump side to be perfect for massaging the legs and thighs. Also running the bumps over the clitoris and labia is particularly enjoyable. The bumps on the handle seem to produce more accurate textured stimulation to the clitoris and are also perfect for stimulating your areola and nipples.

The toy can be used anally because the curved handle will prevent it from getting lost. I’m a little nervous about using it anally; I’m not overly keen on extreme textures for anal stimulation.

The glass is perfect for those wishing to experiment with temperature play. Just run it under a hot or cold tap, it adjusts to the desired temperature quickly. The handle is particularly helpful when the glass has been cooled.

Cleaning the toy is easy; just use your standard antibacterial toy cleaner. Some variations of the toy might be harder to clean than others due to how different the textures can be on each toy, just make sure you give these areas a little extra attention. The toy is also dishwasher safe, and is easy to sterilise.

Overall, I still like the No. 24 a lot, even though it doesn’t produce me to have a g-spot orgasm. Just because it didn’t stimulate my g-spot enough to produce an orgasm, it still might with you. Remember that everyone’s anatomy is slightly different, but also each No. 24 dildo is vaguely different as they are handmade. It has to be the most interesting textured toys I own, and can be used in a variation of ways for external and internal massage. Also, due to the toy having a handle and only a short amount of insertable shaft, I feel it would be a great toy to use with a partner. I wouldn’t recommend this toy to those who aren’t keen on textured toys.

Vibe Therapy Dive Vibrator

The Vibe Therapy Dive is a slimline insertable vibrator. Vibe Therapy products are classed as middle range luxury sex toys which are made from smooth motors, good quality silicone, and at a reasonable price.

The Dive comes packaged within a white cardboard box with Vibe Therapy printed on. The toy is held in place by a clear plastic tube, this tube can be reused to store your vibrator in. The vibrator is made from pink silicone with a silver plastic ring separating the shaft and battery cap. The battery cap is made from pink plastic with a circular push button on the end. In the cap there is a slightly curve indent in the plastic which is perfect for wrapping a finger or two round. The toy is 7 inches in length with 5 inches of insertable length. The girth of the vibrator varies between 3 inches to just below 4 inches. The vibrator has a slightly bulbous tapered tip; this is slightly flexible compared to the rest of the shaft.  Travelling from the base of the head are two adjacent ridges in the silicone, these are a medium firmness and can be pinched together.  Even though there are two raised ridges there is no actual manufacturing mould line on the silicone. The shaft is straight with a slight wave. At the back of the head of the vibrator there is a small raised ridge. The silicone feels reasonably smooth and only causes mild friction when rubbed against dry skin. The vibrator requires two AAA batteries. Just twist the cap open and pop the batteries in plus side first, push and twist the cap back into place and now you should have a functional vibrator. Make sure the cap is firmly in place as this vibrator is water proof.

The vibrator has seven vibration modes: one escalating, three different vibration intensities, and three pulsation modes. To use the vibrator just press the push button then scan through the settings. The push button lights up red when the vibrator is on. You have to scan through all the vibration functions before you are able to turn the vibrator off. The vibrations are as follow: first vibration fairly mild, second is a moderate vibration, third is reasonably strong, the fourth escalates from the mild to strong setting, the fifth is the moderate vibration with slow pauses, the sixth is the moderate vibration with rapid pauses, and the seventh is two moderate vibrations with quick pauses and then a slightly elongated strong vibration then pause. All the vibrations are relatively quiet compared to vibrators with cheaper motors. Also the vibrations are mostly focused at the tip of the toy but can be felt throughout the shaft.

Inserting the vibrator is fairly easy and due to the size of the shaft very little added lubrication was needed. Even though lubrication wasn’t needed prior to insertion, I found that the ridges running along the shaft pinched my vaginal wall unless I applied copious amounts of lubricant. If you are planning to use lubrication with this toy, remember to only apply water based lubricant. The vibrator was far too straight to hit my g-spot, and I didn’t feel any benefits from the waves. The vibrations are rather strong but I’ve experienced stronger vibrations from other AAA battery powered vibrators. I did however find that the Dive vibrators tip worked well as a clitoral stimulator. The vibrations can be felt perfectly at the tip, and because the head of the toy is slightly flexible I was able to pinpoint the vibrations directly to the desired spot. I’ve tried to use the ridges to massage my clitoris and other external areas such as the labia. Again I found that they caused slightly too much friction and caught skin tissue unless lots of lubricant was used.

Cleaning the toy is use especially as Dive is waterproof. The silicone does seem to attract dust so it’s best to store it in the plastic tube when not in use.

Overall, I didn’t get along with the Vibe Therapy Dive. For me it’s just too narrow and uncomfortable, with weak vibrations. I feel it might work for some with a different anatomy. It’s an option for those looking for a moderately quiet vibrator with a good motor. It’s still an extremely well made toy and it may work for you.  I have had better experiences with other Vibe Therapy products, it’s just this particular one wasn’t right for me.

Laid Stone D.1 Dildo

First of all I want to get this out of my system: I can’t believe I had to go to Ann Summers to get Laid. It’s been a long time since I’ve purchased an actual sex toy from Ann Summers, due to their prices I have shopped elsewhere. For once Ann Summers have a toy worth purchasing and at a decent price, unlike their £50 rabbit that wears out after years of rampant abuse, the Laid Stone D.1 is £72 and will last a lifetime. The Laid D.1 stone dildo is exclusively sold at Ann Summers in the UK. If you live outside the UK you can purchase Laid Stone D.1 online from Babeland.

The toy arrives in a very natural and unbleached cardboard box. There is a small amount of information on the box including the products weight which is 400gm. The product is made from 100% Blue Pearl Larvikite/ Black Norwegian moonstone; it originates from the Oslo rift in Norway – a little different from your standard toy which originates from a conveyor belt somewhere in China. After opening the box you find a grey pouch tied onto a piece of cardboard with instructions, the string used to tie the product to the packing card appears to be made from natural fibres. The pouch is easily removes from the packaging and no scissors where required. The pouch itself seems to be made from a natural fibre which has a rough weave similar to denim. The bag keeps your toy in place with a rope drawstring opening. Inside the pouch you will find the dildo, a certificate, and another set of instructions. The set of instructions provided within the pouch seem to have a typo as step two of the instructions has been repeated. The instructions help you guide the toy onto your g-spot. Push the bulbous end of D.1 into you vagina until you feel no resistance from your pelvic floor muscles, then gently pull D.1 out of your vagina until your pelvic floor muscles start to resist the toys movements. You should find the head of D.1 positioned perfectly under your g-spot, and tilting the toy gently up into the front wall of the vagina will hit the g-spot exactly. I was a bit dubious when reading these instructions, but after following them I have to say they actually work. The instructions also carry a warning; you should avoid using the pointed tip end of the D.1 stone dildo. Not only is the tip rather jagged, this end of the toy has a section of unpolished stone which may cause damage to the vaginal wall. The stone toy itself is dazzling; I would say it’s the most beautifully individualistic toy I own. Each stone D.1 is hand crafted as well as cut from moonstone. The moonstone is estimated to have experience over 300 million years of environmental influences. The stone sparkles and glistens as you move it around; a new patch catches my eye as it shimmers. I could stare at it for hours as if I was a magpie appreciating my treasure. The toy feels relatively smooth, there’s a few sculpting bumps that feel slightly textured. The slightly bulbous and rounded tip is intended to be inserted and seems to be tapered perfectly. The pointed tip of the toy acts as a handle. Around the tip there is ‘D.1’ marked into the toy, this isn’t polished and feels slightly rough. The D.1 marking acts as a perfect handle, especially with slippery. The toy is fairly weightily, heavier than a plastic or even ceramic toy of similar proportion. It doesn’t seem to be as cold as a metal toy or glass; it seems to feel similar to room temperature and warms to body heat quickly. I’ve seen various polished gemstones in the past of a similar shape, I feel you might be able to leave the Stone D.1 out as an ornament and if anyone questions it you could pass it off as a crystal/ gemstone wand.

Using the toy is actually very simple especially when following the instructions. I must admit I felt a bit like a novice when first using this toy, partly because it came with instructions. I almost felt like a prehistoric women first discovering that a piece of stone could be used to stimulate myself. When using the toy I found that only a small amount of lubricant was needed due to the sleekness of the toy. As this dildo is made from stone you can use any lubricant you desire, whether it’s silicone or water. I gently pushed the toy into my vagina and once inserted it was easily pushed deeper. As I was following the instructions I gently pulled the toy back until I felt resistance from my pelvic floor muscles. I recommend doing this slowly as you might miss judge your body’s resistance if you are too fast and therefore miss your g-spot. I pushed the handle downwards forcing the shaft up into the front of my vaginal wall, the toy found my g-spot straight away. Using the toy in a rocking motion produces a satisfying g-spot orgasm quickly. I would be careful not to get overly passionate with your thrusts due to the firmness and weight of this toy. The toy hasn’t caused me any bodily harm yet, but sometimes when I’ve gotten too carried away I can feel and see the affects each thrust travel through my lower abdomen. Also I feel that there is no need to get overly frisky with D.1, it produces an orgasm rather rapidly compared to some other toys.

Cleaning the D.1 Stone dildo is simple. Apply your standard antibacterial wash and rinse. Make sure not to run this toy under too hot a tap, extreme temperatures whether it’s hot or cold can crack stone.

Overall, I’m impressed with the Laid Stone D.1 dildo. It’s such a beautiful toy to use as well as divine to look at. It gives me an aura of happiness from just a simple glance all through to the wonderful orgasm. Everyone should get Laid, and if you are worried about using a stone toy, the Laid D.1 is also available as a silicone toy. I’m still yet to try the D.1silicone toy, hopefully one day it will be part of my collection.
