You 2 Toys - Butterfly Waver

The Butterfly Waver is a rabbit style vibrator using a butterfly’s antennae as the clitoral stimulator, rather than the standard bunny ears. The toy’s main shaft offers a waving sensation, rather than the standard rotations or vibrations found on other rabbit style vibrators. The waves are meant to massage the vagina, simulating the throbbing motion of a penis. This isn’t the first waver rabbit I have tried; I initially purchased one about 5 years ago, and wanted to see whether the technology had improved since then.

The Butterfly Waver arrives in a cardboard box, adorned with two pictures of a naked woman holding the sex toy. The packaging is rather off-putting, not just because of its sleazy nature, but also because of the way the model is glaring – I find it kind of intimidating. On the back of the box there is a larger image of the toy, with a small amount of product information. The toy is held in place by transparent bits of packaging and is easily removed from the box.

The toy is made from a soft TPR material, which is skin safe and free from latex and phthalates. The vibrator is relatively large, being 9.75 inches in length with 5 inches of insertable shaft. The shaft’s girth is pretty big too, being 5 inches in circumference. The tip is slightly tapered and looks similar to the glans on a penis; below it there are three rib-like textures which remind me of a rolled back foreskin. The clitoral stimulator is approximately 3 inches in length and almost 2.5 inches wide including the wings. The antennae work similar to the ears on a standard rabbit, but are a bit wider apart than on most rabbits. The butterfly can be flexed up to 90 degrees away from the main shaft. At the base of the toy you will find the control unit and battery compartment. There are five buttons; two for changing the speed of the waver, one for changing the direction of the waver, and another two for changing the intensity of the vibrations. There are three speeds of waves and three intensities of vibration in the clitoral nub. The battery cap is waterproof. The toy takes 3 AA batteries.

The vibrator is extremely noisy, sounding more like a swarm of bees than the gentle fluttering of a butterfly. I have yet to find a waver style rabbit that is quiet. I would only recommend this toy to those who don’t have to worry about the noise level.

I was expecting to have some difficulty when inserting the toy, but I found that this wasn’t the case. After minimal foreplay and lubrication, the tapered tip slid into my vagina effortlessly. Inserting the whole shaft took a little bit of time, but turning the waving motions on seemed to aid in inserting the toy deeper inside me. While inserting the toy I was able to feel the ribbed textures rub against my vaginal walls. The antennae sat firmly against my clitoris, while the butterfly’s wings rested on my labia. I feel that the clitoral stimulator was almost too long, but it seems to sit ok against my body. The toy isn’t really meant to be used in a thrusting motion like some other vibrators. Basically it’s meant to rest inside you while the combination of waves and clitoral stimulator do their magic and bring you to orgasm. I was able to feel the waving sensations, but due to the shaft’s shape, I wasn’t able to experience any G-spot or A-spot stimulation with it. The waves felt nice, but I thought they needed to be a bit more intense. When changing the direction of the wave motion I was able to feel the difference, but it annoyed me how long the motors would pause for during the process. The clitoral stimulator, although rather large, did work ok. The vibrations it offered weren’t the strongest, but I enjoyed how it stimulated more of my vulva, while still offering some direct stimulation to my clitoris. The combination of the internal and external stimulation brought me to climax eventually, but it took a bit longer than I expected.

Cleaning the toy is easy as it is waterproof; use your standard antibacterial wash and water. Dirt washes away from the TPR with ease.

Although the vibrations and wave function aren’t overly intense, I still like the sensations the toy produces. The waves are fairly pleasurable, and the butterfly shaped clitoral stimulator works better than some rabbit shaped ones I’ve tried. However, I found the toy to be a little too loud, which was slightly off putting. If you want a toy with internal wave-like massaging, but don’t need too intense internal stimulation, then this toy might be perfect for you. Just be aware that the shaft is rather bulky compared to some other vibrators.

Thank you to Sexi-Vibes for sending me this rabbit-style vibrator for my review. You can purchase the Butterfly Waver from their website here.

Belinda On The Banquette Collectors Plate

As a kinky person who enjoys fine tableware, I was very excited when I found Dirty Dishes line of decorative plates. Dirty Dishes use provocative images printed onto 10” ceramic plates. There are currently six available, all of which are reasonably priced at £14.99 each, or £75 for the complete set. Dirty Dishes aim to produce plates with a difference, which can ideally be appreciated even by those who aren’t renowned kinksters.

The plates are food safe, and are also ideal for decoration. I wouldn’t recommend using cutlery on them, as I wouldn’t want to ruin the design by scratching it, but they’d be perfect serving plates for a buffet, providing a great talking point while your guests scoff down their vol-au-vents. The dishes can be hand washed in washing-up liquid and hot water – they aren’t dishwasher safe.

The ceramic is quite thick and good quality. The picture has been applied smoothly, and looks absolutely fabulous. On the back you will find the Dirty Dishes logo. Unlike some collectable plates, there aren’t any holes for adding hanging hooks, so if you wished to hang these plates you’d need a sprung plate hanger which clips onto the back of the plate.

The plate I received is known as Belinda On The Banquette, and has a picture of a blonde pin-up model wearing a suspender belt and stockings, which appears rather retro in style. The image isn’t overly revealing, but the model still looks delightfully alluring thanks to her sultry pout and tactfully positioned locks of hair.

I really like all the plates by Dirty Dishes, and plan to collect more in the future. I’m also eager to see what other designs they end up producing. I will mostly be using the plate for decorative purposes in my bedroom, but when the right occasion presents itself, I’m sure it’ll be a great ice breaker.

A special Birthday post

Yesterday I attempted my first ever video review, which epically failed, but as it’s my Birthday I’m still posting it for my own amusement – and partly because I promised you guys a video review :-p

Anyway, from talking while not recording, items in the way, learning that doing a video review while outside, my cameras battery playing up, unpredictable British weather, my OH refusing to help due to having a headache (if someone can find the Black Adder clip that would be fab), and myself getting stage fright, and my camera losing most of the data... well you can tell that this is the best ever product review to be made.

I think I learnt how hard making a video review is, and I really appreciate how much effort some reviewers make.

So yes, as it’s my birthday... please enjoy, watch, mock and laugh =)

Also, you can read the review here. I plan to make an actual video review for it in the future.

Erotic Dream Bag Thrusting Sex Machine

I’ve never considered purchasing a product like this until recently. I normally find that sex machines look pretty unattractive, but then I saw the Erotic Dream Bag . It wasn’t just the appearance of the toy that made me purchase the machine; there were other factors which played a part. After years of using sex toys, I’ve actually worked out what type of functions I like/would like in a toy, from deep rumbly vibrations to materials used. The main thing I am certain of is that I’m more about the motion of a toy when used penetratively; never mind vibrations and other innovative features, what causes the most potent of climaxes for me is rhythm, speed, and pressure. The problem with this is that sometimes I’m too lazy to thrust away until I reach orgasm, and other times, I simply want more freedom with my hands to concentrate on other areas of my body. The Erotic Dream Bag Sex Machine is a machine which offers virtually hands free thrusting motions of various speeds.

The product’s name must’ve has some form of subliminal effect too, as for weeks before purchase I was experiencing some pretty funky lucid dreams involving that bag – the dreams being so persistent, I felt I needed to purchase that accursed bag just to maintain my sanity and a good night’s sleep. Once purchased, my sanity remained intact, though most people aware of my purchase would disagree. However, the purchase of the sex machine didn’t help my insomnia, as now I had a new toy, a lover without the complications, and one that didn’t need to rest.

So after doing much independent research, trawling through the internet, and asking numerous questions, I had finally purchased my first ever sex machine.

The machine arrives in a large, plain cardboard box. Inside you will find the bag amongst various bits of packing material. When removing the bag from the box, be prepared for how heavy the item is. It weighs approximately 8 kg with everything in it – you don’t want to hurt your bag (or your back) while eagerly lifting it out. The bag is made from black faux leather, and has brown laurel wreath patterns scattered over the fabric, with an ‘M’ within each. The bag reminds me of a vintage style Gucci bag, but much bigger, being similar in size to a weekender. The bag is approximately 16 inches long and 9 inches high at its tallest point (excluding handles), and it is 7.5 inches wide. The bag is fixed onto the internal machine, meaning you can’t take the machine out of it. Fixed onto the bottom of the bag you will find four rubber non-slip grips. At the side of the bag you will find a hidden panel held closed by a popper; once opened this reveals the power socket, hole for the attachments, an LED light, and infrared sensor. At the back of the bag there are several holes punched through the fabric, which act as ventilation for the machine. These are hardly noticeable. Every so often you may want to lightly hoover over the holes to remove any dust. At the front of the bag you will find a well made clutch, and a key for the clutch is hidden within a tag hooked around one of the handles. When opening the clutch you will find two layers of flaps, all held securely into place by heavy duty Velcro, which makes certain that the internal contents don’t inconveniently fall out.

Inside the bag, I was expecting to be able to see much more of the toy’s workings, but you are unable to see any of the internal mechanisms. The metal tray is coated in grey protective paint. This tray contains all the items needed to turn your bag into a functional sex machine. You will find two steel rods tipped with screw-threads and rubber washers, a metal Vac-U-Lock attachment, a small remote, a couple of power cords, a Vac-U-Lock compatible skin-safe rubber dong, and an instruction booklet which seems to be in Italian. To use the power cord you will need a UK plug converter, which may be provided with the machine, depending on where you purchase the toy.

To assemble the machine, simply push the provided toy onto the Vac-U-Lock attachment, and then screw this onto one of the rods. Screw both rods together, and then insert this into the hole found at the side of the bag under the removable flap. Plug the power cord into the AC adaptor found near this hole, then connect it to the power pack and plug into your mains power socket. The cable is approximately 125” in length, so you don’t need to worry about being too close to a socket. Now the machine should be fully functional and the LED should flash blue. When the toy is put together the rods are very sturdy and don’t wobble about much. Fixed together, the rods measure 15.25 inches in length, and the total length of the distance from the machine will vary depending on what toy you use. After use, removing the Vac-U-Lock toy can be difficult. I tend to find keeping the attachment screwed onto one of the rods gives me more leverage when pulling the toy off.

The remote has four buttons; an on button, an off button, and two for adjusting the toy’s thrusting speed. The remote takes one CR 2032 battery, but this should last years. Removing the battery cap on the remote is very difficult, and I advise only to do this when utterly needed.

The toy has over 10 speeds of thrusting, which seem a lot tamer than some machines I’ve seen before. The maximum thrusting speed is still pretty impressive. When the toy is thrusting the LED will steadily glow blue. To change the thrusting speed you will need to aim the remote towards the signal receiver on the bag. One of the main things I like about this machine is that it’s virtually silent. I was expecting it to be a lot louder than it is, but you can only hear a gentle whirring noise even when the toy is at its highest thrusting speed.

The dildo provided is the Doc Johnson 7 inch Vac-U-Lock Natural Dildo. It has a tapered tip for easy insertion and a maximum of 5 inches girth. The shaft is 7.75 inches in length with vein textures running down it. The dildo is made from skin-safe rubber which is latex and phthalate free. If sharing the dildo with a lover I’d recommend using a condom as the material is slightly porous – though as this sex machine can be used with multiple Vac-U-Lock toys it would be best to have your own personal toy. The dildo does have a strange smell, but this is slowly fading. It isn’t the most attractive toy to me, but it is ok looking. The machine works with all Doc Johnson toys that are Vac-U-Lock compatible, including a few silicone toys.

Unlike some sex machines, the Dream Bag’s rods don’t have any way of adjusting their angle. When using the product for the first time I wondered what would be the best position to use it in. After much consideration I decided to use the toy while lying on the floor, at least until I had became more confident with it. After laying a blanket down, I found the rods were ever so slightly too high for vaginal penetration, and that I needed a thin pillow to raise my body slightly – not everyone will experience this problem. I slowly placed my feet near the bag and pushed my body onto the toy, after minimal lubrication and foreplay. The dildo provided seems to be a very good shape for easy insertion, even though it is above average girth.

After insertion I turned the machine onto its first speed setting, and had to move my body back slightly. The toy’s thrusts seem to be very long and deep. After getting used to the first setting and repositioning my body slightly, so that the tip of the toy rhythmically stimulated my G-spot, I gradually upped its thrusting speed. As the toy thrusted away, my body became better lubricated compared to using a toy manually. After a while I eventually reached the highest speed, and although it felt very enjoyable, I decided to turn the thrust down a little so I could enjoy the toy for a bit longer. Eventually I experienced a very powerful orgasm, which felt far more natural than any other toy I’ve used, especially smaller sex toys with a thrusting function. The rods held their own as my body squirmed – the machine is very solidly built. I slowly turned the toy’s speed down, and very quickly proceeded to turn the toy up to full power to experience multiple orgasms.

During use I enjoyed how I was able to freely stimulate my clitoris without the toy getting in the way. I’ve noticed that a lot of other sex machines prevent you from easily doing this. Due to the length of the rods on the Erotic Dream Bag, you are able to manoeuvre your hands or even place a wand style toy between your legs while enjoying the thrusting sensations.

I have used the toy in other positions now, such as while on my side, and doggy style. I think once you have learnt how to comfortably insert the dildo, and become confident using the toy, then you are able to use it for a variety of positions without many problems. The only position you can’t really do using this machine is a riding/on top position.

When cleaning the toy simply wipe down the rods, Vac-U-Lock attachment, and bag if necessary. Make sure to completely dry them before putting away. Wash the dildo in warm water with your standard antibacterial wash, and allow the Vac-U-Lock chamber to dry completely before fixing it back onto the metal attachment. Once your machine is all clean, simply place all the parts back inside the bag and secure shut – no one will suspect a thing.

Overall, I’m really glad I invested in the Erotic Dream Bag Sex Machine. Even though it’s pricey, it does seem worth it. The thrusting motions are some of the best I’ve felt when masturbating, whether they have been produced artificially by an inferior device, or manually by my own hands. If I could change anything about the product, then it would be to give it a slightly sturdier remote, with an easy to open battery compartment, and having an O-ring style attachment too. However, not only am I ecstatic about its functionality, I really appreciate how the manufacturers have taken what would generally be classed as an ugly and scary looking device, and disguised it as an exquisite commonplace object.

I puchased the Erotic Dream Bag Thrusting Sex Machine from Lovehoney using my Birthday Discount - I'm now living off value tinned food and Birthday cake, but it's worth it ^_^

Sinful Sunday: Stigmata - Competition Entry

I wasn't going to enter Sinful Sunday this week, as I knew I'd have to take these pictures myself.

Balancing on 6 inch roofing nails is pretty tricky and dangerous, espically when you only have a 10 second time limit to get into position.

Due to this I apologies for the blurriness. I'm mostly posting these pictures as I'm pretty impressed with even daring to try this out. It probably would've worked a lot better if the nails were shorter.

Positioning the nails.
Starting to sit upright and putting my weight onto the nail tips.
Yay - balancing on the nails.

Sh! Smooth 3

The Sh! Smooth 3 Dildo is a sleek straight dildo on a flared heart shaped base. The toy’s shaft is angled slightly for easier insertion during solo play and strap-on sex. The Smooth 3 is the perfect dildo for those who don’t enjoy textures or dramatic curves.  I’m a big fan of textures and curved shafts, but sometimes my body doesn’t feel up to anything too extreme, and from time to time I just want a change of pace. All Sh! Dildo Delights are handmade in the UK, being one of the only companies which makes silicone toys over this side of the pond.

The toy arrives in a simple shrink wrap, sitting on a piece of card which has the product information written onto it. The packaging is pretty basic, but it does the job, and means that less goes to waste.

The Smooth design is available in different sizes of girth and length. There’s also the option to have a bullet chamber. I received the Smooth 3, which is meant to be a toy based on regular girth, with 5.5 inches of insertable shaft. The product information is a somewhat lacking, as none of the Smooth Dildos state what girth they are, other than to say slim, regular, and full. The Smooth 3 has a circumference of 4.75 inches, and is compatible with an O-ring. The toy is made from silicone. The silicone causes a fair amount of drag when rubbed against dry skin, and does catch on hair. The silicone is very pliable and has a fair amount of squishiness to it. The base is flared and in the shape of a heart. I was curious to see how well this sat when used in a harness. The base of the toy has the Sh! Logo imprinted on it.

When using the toy vaginally I found the silicone needed a good amount of lubrication, but due to its sleek design, very little foreplay was needed prior to insertion. The angle of the toy made sliding the shaft inside me straightforward, and the rounded tip was able to reach my G-spot. The heart shape base felt a lot more comfortable to grip compared to holding a standard round flared base. The angled shaft meant that I was able to thrust continuously on my G-spot, without the toy going off target. The bounciness of the silicone felt good against my G-spot, but it wasn’t firm enough for me to experience a very strong orgasm. I still managed to climax with the toy, but it took a little longer than some. However, this wasn’t much of a problem, as the toy is so easy to hold that my wrist didn’t become as tired as when using other toys.

I have used the Smooth 3 in a strap-on harness. The toy’s flared base holds the toy steady, but the flexibility of the silicone can make insertion a little difficult. The toy’s angle seems to work well for strap-on play, and my partner seemed to enjoy using the toy. I feel the toy needs to have ever so slightly less flexibility to make pegging easier.

Cleaning the toy is simple due to the hygienic nature of silicone; also a condom can easily be used on the toy. The toy can be sterilised, boiled, bleached, washed with your standard antibacterial wash and water, and even placed into the dishwasher. You will need to find a suitable container for storage, as like most silicone toys this attracts dirt to it.

Overall, I like the Sh! Smooth 3 and feel it works well as a toy, especially when you are after something simple that’ll still hit the right spot. The softness of the material means you are unlikely to bruise the cervix during use, which makes this a good option for those who are new to sex toys, or those who often get a bit carried away. The base is very comfortable to hold, and works well in a harness. The toy is available in a variety of sizes, so if you are after its sleek design, but with more or less girth or length, then you should be able to find an almost perfect match for you.

Thank you to Sh! for providing me with this toy for my review. You can purchase it here.

Incoqnito Blade Necklace

The Incoqnito Blade Necklace is a discreet pleasure object aimed at sensory play, which is disguised to look similar to a tribal tooth pendant. The pendant is hinged and opens out to reveal a tantalizing, yet harmless, glass blade. This sensory play object is truly simple yet beautiful, and I was enthusiastic to try out the device. I was curious to see how the glass blade compared to using a standard glass toy during sensory play. I also wanted to see how sharp the blade was, and whether or not it would be a safer and more hygienic choice for those into live blades to produce a scratching sensation on the flesh.

The necklace arrives in a large black box, with a piece of elastic holding the box shut. The box is discreet, with only the words ‘blade necklace – necklace & sensation instrument’ printed onto a sticker in various languages. I doubt most people would be aware that this item is intended to be a pleasure object; they would treat it like any other jewellery case. Inside the box you will find a suede storage pouch. The pouch has three pockets, so you are able to store the pendant and chain separately, or store the necklace alongside other pieces of jewellery – I guess, if the item is stored among more normal style jewellery, then it would appear less suspect if found. The only downside to the pouch is that it doesn’t have any way of keeping the contents secure – a button or similar would’ve been appreciated. There is a small piece of card, simply stating that to use the toy, unfold it and glide across the skin.

The necklace is available in either silver or rose gold colouration. The chain is 26 inches in length and has a strong clasp. It only has the option of one size, and for me, it is a little long. The pendant can easily be removed from the chain. The blade sheath is made from a metal alloy which has been treated to prevent it from rust and wear. The sheath has a metal D-ring going through it, which acts as the hinge for the glass blade, as well as the loop for the chain. I found opening the blade tricky, and often ended up applying a small amount of pressure around the hinge, so that I was able to grip and pull the blade out. The glass blade is made of borosilicate glass and shouldn’t break. The glass is hand cut and looks fairly crystal like. The blade is completely blunt with only an ever so slightly pointed tip.

When using the blade I found it only offered a light tingling sensation when used on myself or my partner. My partner said it tickled. No matter what speed, pressure and area the blade was applied to, the sensations felt inconsequential. I was hoping the blade would produce more of a sensation, even something similar to running dancing finger tips over the skin, but unfortunately even though the sensations weren’t unpleasant, they weren’t the finest. I wasn’t expecting the blade to produce any extreme sensations, but I had hoped for a little bit more from it. No matter how much force was applied, the blade never managed to leave any marking. This is a good thing in some respects, but sometimes I like to be able to see noticeable marking after sensory play; it just helps add to the excitement. I found that using the tip of the sheath would produce a much more noticeable sensation, and yet still be safe.

You can use the toy for temperature play. The blade heats to room temperature quickly. You can heat the toy under a hot or cold tap; the metal shouldn’t rust, but it is still advisable to completely dry the toy after each session. The toy does work a bit better when heated or chilled, but it’s still not as good as I was hoping.

When using the toy I’d recommend using some lens cleaner to wipe away any smudges, especially if you plan to wear it round your neck. The toy is very hygienic and can be sterilised. I’d be careful when using soaps, and make sure you use one that is compatible with the metal.

The Incoqnito Blade Necklace isn’t quite what I was hoping for. It is a very beautiful item, and works well as a nice and slightly unusual piece of jewellery, but it doesn’t really cut it when used as a sensory object. The sensations are very light tingles, so much so that I feel even dangling the chain over one’s body feels more pleasurable. I wasn’t looking for the object to cause intense sensations, but I had hoped for a bit more. I guess it might be a worthwhile investment if you have exceptionally sensitive skin, and want something which is discreet and easily transported. I will still use the Blade Necklace, but it will be purely as a fashion accessory.
