Sh! Queen Pearl Vibrating Dildo

The Queen Pearl is a textured silicone dildo with a clitoral stimulator. The toy also has a gap for a bullet vibrator in its base, which is supplied with it. The Queen Pearl reminds me of a tentacle-like toy, due to its bumpy shaft and curved clitoral nub. The Queen Pearl is from the Dildo Delights range of sex toys, manufactured by Sh! in the UK. I haven’t found many companies within the UK that manufacture their toys locally, and think it’s great that Sh! offers an extensive selection of locally produced toys.

The toy arrives in clear shrink wrap packaging. At the base of the toy there is a cardboard heart, with various bit of product information. The packaging is very basic, but means you are able to see the whole product prior to opening.

The Queen Pearl is a slender girth toy which offers dual stimulation. The toy is available in a variety of colours; I received it in a rich purple colour. The base is a large heart shape, making the product harness compatible. On the bottom of the heart base you will find the Sh! logo printed into the toy. There is also a hole for a bullet. The main shaft is approximately 6.5 inches in length, with around 5.25 inches of insertable length. The tip of the toy is rounded, and rather thin in girth at 3.75 inches. As the shaft curves towards the base it gradually expands to a maximum of 5 inches of girth. There are three rows of four bumps found on the shaft. These bumps are quite far away from the tip of the shaft, and are mainly aimed at shallow textured stimulation. The clitoral nub is 1.5 inches in length when stretched outwards; it is about an inch away from the main shaft but can be flexed closer or further away. The silicone is smooth in texture, causing minimal drag when rubbed against dry skin. It is pretty plushy and flexible.

The toy arrives with its very own Sh! bullet. The bullet is a simple twist-activated battery powered toy, which uses three LR44s. It isn’t waterproof. I’m not overly keen on the bullet, as when it is inserted into the toy you aren’t able to turn the bullet on or off. When inserting the bullet, make sure you apply a small amount of lubricant to the bullet chamber first, otherwise the bullet will be very difficult to remove after use. This is especially true as you are unable to turn off the vibrations prior to removal. The bullet doesn’t stick too much out of the base when inserted, meaning that if you are using it with a strap-on, it shouldn’t cause too much discomfort. Also, because the bullet is twist-activated, rather than a push button, this means that the bullet won’t randomly change settings when used with a strap-on. Personally I feel a sliding stitch would’ve worked better than a twist button. The vibrator is a single speed toy. The vibrations are fairly loud and buzzy, of relatively mild power. The vibrations can be felt through the toy, but the strength is dampened quite a lot by the silicone.

When using the toy I found, due to its slender tip, that hardly any additional water based lubrication was needed prior to insertion. However, I found that I needed to add a small amount of lubrication externally onto my clitoris, as otherwise the clitoral nub rubbed uncomfortably. I was pleased to find that the clitoral nub did hit my clitoris, but found that the material was too soft and smooth to offer much stimulation. I found the bumps on the shaft to be ever so slightly too far down to gain much benefit from them. Also I would’ve preferred them to be a bit bigger, and more textured. Internally, the shaft wasn’t able to stimulate either my G-spot or A-spot, and I found the girth to be a bit too slender. When I inserted only the first few inches of the toy, the curved shaft did reach my G-spot, and I was able to use the toy in a prodding motion to cause a G-spot orgasm. Unfortunately, when using the toy like this, I wasn’t able to benefit from the clitoral nub. Sadly, the Queen Pearl’s shape doesn’t seem suited to my body. It’s one of the first toys I’ve used that has left me really disappointed about the whole experience, even leading me to a state of ennui.

When using the toy with the bullet vibrator, I found that the vibrations travelled throughout the toy well, but were just too weak. I decided to try a more powerful bullet with the toy, which worked a lot better. I feel that if the bullet chamber was located nearer the clitoral nub, then this would’ve made the toy a lot more enjoyable, as I like strong clitoral vibrations. I found it annoyingly difficult removing the bullet from the toy’s chamber after use. I also used the bullet by itself for clitoral stimulation, and found it too weak to make me orgasm.

Cleaning the silicone body is easy, as you can wash it with your standard antibacterial cleaner, place it into a dishwasher, boil it, bleach it, or even sterilise it. Before cleaning the toy, make sure you remove the bullet, as this isn’t waterproof. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the bulletvibrator.

I really do feel that maybe this toy will work better for others, but it just didn’t excite me very much at all; it even left me rather disheartened. If you feel this toy will work for you and you decide to purchase one, scrap the bullet straight away and find an easier to use, more powerful alternative. It’s really a shame that this toy didn’t work for me, because it did seem to have all the traits necessary for a great toy at first glance.

Thank you to Sh! for sending me the Queen Pearl Vibrating Dildo for my review. You can purchase it from here.

    1. I know! That's why I picked it, so far I've had good luck with tentacle toys, and really thought that this would be a winner.

  2. Im really sorry this didn't work for you huny, I was torn between this one and the Countess and found the same with the vibes; but I did enjoy the ridges on the Countess. I too have found other bullets that are better inside and I agree if the bullet would reach the clit stim it would work give more stimulation.
Great review as always huny and lovely piks.!
